Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola has sent a message of positivity to his players as the Premier League table toppers prepare for a jam packed schedule of fixtures.
According to Sky Sports, Guardiola has asked his players to embrace the ‘beautiful challenge’ as a very busy period looms for City.
Guardiola has told his players not to focus on City’s upcoming busy schedule and instead to focus on the ‘beautiful challenge’ after watching his side go 10 points clear at the top of the Premier League.
City took another three steps away from second place Manchester United after a 3-1 victory over Everton at Goodison Park on Wednesday night.
Wonderkid Phil Foden, Riyad Mahrez and Bernardo Silva were all on target for Guardiola’s side as City took full advantage of their game in hand and registered another three points in the league.
City’s next fixture is a Premier League game away to Arsenal on Sunday with the game scheduled to kick-off at 4.30pm GMT.
