Pep Guardiola has revealed that his star striker Erling Haaland could play football in Congo as he continues to prove his quality.
Guardiola’s words came ahead of Manchester City’s clash with Crystal Palace this weekend, with the Spaniard being asked whether Haaland is suited to the Premier League.
“Yes. And I would say in Germany, in Spain, in Italy, in Norway, in Congo, everywhere. These types of players adapt everywhere; in Africa, South America, no problem.”

Guardiola then touched on whether he thought the Norwegian’s addition to the Man City team has helped them this season.

“Now we have to try to play to his strengths. Knowing he’s there as a good target for us, the first vision has to be towards him.
City need a win this afternoon to keep up with Arsenal, while Palace need a result to relieve the pressure on Patrick Vieira.
