Pep Guardiola wasn’t too happy with a journalist asking why does he give out to his players on the pitch after the match and why not wait till he gets them in the dressing room ..
It’s a fair question, have a look at his response and some of the comments underneath ..
And people get all cranky when Klopp responds to questions with a snidey attitude… this question is totally fair and he could have answered it a million ways, but instead goes on this tangent. pic.twitter.com/AKtOFjczN0

The funny thing is as snarky as he was when he answered it he probably was telling the truth
This wasn’t at all snide though. It was sarcastic. Look at Guardiola’s body language and listen to his tone. He’s calm and non-aggressive. When Klopp goes off on one he’s typically hostile, pointed and throws in a personal jibe or two. You’re shooting yourself in the foot by comparing the two. This is exactly how Klopp *should* respond when he’s short on patience.
I’m not sure how he would react if he went on a long scale losing period or genuine transitional season. He comes across as very very salty. When people talk about whether he could do things without huge finances this kind of thing doesn’t help his claim.
When basically everything has been given to you in your career and you’re having a season where things are not going to plan…
The correct answer is because I am the coach and it is important to highlight moments where we can improve. If we go into the locker room I could forget what I wanted to say!!!
I really like this response. He doesn’t need to tell them why even though it glaring obvious why. Its fresh in his mind the players mind he’s taken an opportunity to give information directly and quickly.
