Manchester City full-back Pedro Porro has NEVER spoken to Pep Guardiola, despite being a full Spanish international.
Porro is the classic case of a player signed, immediately loaned out and forgotten about by everyone at his parent club.
However, the 21-year-old has been making waves, having earned himself a spot in the Primeira Liga Team of the Year after winning the league with Sporting CP.
Testament to how impressive he was last term, Luis Enrique rewarded Porro with his first appearance for La Roja back in March, a major milestone for the defender.
Still, even after having such an impressive campaign, he’s still never said a word to the manager of the club he’s under contract with – Pep Guardiola.

Porro told Portuguese outlet A Bola:
“No, I never spoke to Pep Guardiola.
“I don’t think he even knows they hired me [laughs]. But they must be attentive to what I have been doing.”
Pep is a busy man with plenty of players to manage, so he could perhaps be forgiven for not being on first-name basis with ALL of his loan army.
Though, the world has never been more connected, a simple WhatsApp message, perhaps after he got the call from Spain, wouldn’t have taken much, would it?
