Jake Paul has provided an update on his fight with Anderson Silva amid speculation that it could be cancelled at the eleventh hour.
Paul and Silva are due to be taking to the ring on Saturday night in what will be the toughest test the YouTuber has faced in his professional boxing career to date.
There will still be those who discredit Paul, who yet again is not fighting a professional boxer, but Silva is a tricky customer in the ring and has proven his boxing credentials.
For those who have been looking forward to the fight, anxiety has emerged, with there being intense speculation that the fight could in fact be cancelled at late notice.
Silva revealed in an interview that he had been knocked out twice during camp, which led to the governing bodies launching an investigation into his ability to compete.
However, Paul took to Twitter to clarify that the fight would indeed be going ahead, which is reassuring news. We can assume that Silva has suffered no lasting damage…
