Jake Paul has made a $30m fight proposal for Will Smith and Chris Rock to settle their differences in the boxing ring.
In case you’ve been living under a rock, the story that has dominated the news on Monday is that Will Smith smacked Chris Rock at the 2022 edition of the Oscars after a rather distasteful joke he made about his wife.
Though Will Smith initially chuckled along with the gag, once it became clear that his wife, Jada, was not particularly impressed, he marched up on stage and hit Chris Rock across the face in front of a room full of A-listers and the entire world watching from the comfort of their own homes.
It was a quite remarkable moment, with Smith and Rock’s relationship evidently under strain. Jake Paul, being the opportunist, outside-of-the-box-thinker that he is, has jumped on the chance to stage a boxing match between the two Hollywood superstars, potentially on his August undercard.

Now, it goes without saying that this is never going to happen, least of all with Jake Paul involved, but there’s no denying that the world would absolutely love to see it. Men ought to settle their problems toe-to-toe, not with a sucker punch at an award ceremony…
