That was, until she pulled out of her first two events, citing mental struggles, as is reported by AP.
Biles’ decision to rank the importance of her mental health above competing in the olympic games is truly commendable.
For someone who has truly reached the pinnacle of her field to open up publicly about her ill mental wellbeing will be an example to follow for the next generation.
