Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba has sent a message of support to Olympic champion Simone Biles via Twitter.
Biles is widely regarded the best gymnast of all-time and headed into Tokyo 2020 as one of the stars of the show.
The American reached five finals out of a possible five, meaning she was teed up for a history five gold medal haul.
That was, until she pulled out of her first two events, citing mental struggles, as is reported by AP.

Biles’ decision to rank the importance of her mental health above competing in the olympic games is truly commendable.
For someone who has truly reached the pinnacle of her field to open up publicly about her ill mental wellbeing will be an example to follow for the next generation.
She has inspired many, and will continue to do so, with Man United and France midfielder Paul Pogba taking to Twitter to share his message of support with Biles.
A moment of undeniable strength from @simone_biles. We always focus on the physical aspect of health but the mental aspect is just as important. When you take care of both, you will flourish in life! ❤️🤍💙#SimoneBiles GOAT 🐐
