Paul O’Connell is back in the Irish rugby set up he will be the forwards coach for the upcoming 2021 Six Nations Championship. Simon Easterby Was previously the forwards coach but will now concentrate on more defence side of things.

Paula O’Connell has vast experience to bring to the role having played for Ireland 108 times and having captained the British and Irish Lions team in 2009 and gone on three British and Irish Lions tours.

The limerick man played for Munster 178 times and was also to Stade Francais forwards coach 2018/19 Season.

Is this a good move by head coach Andy Farrell to bring in Paul O’Connell to head up the forwards for the coming Six Nations Championship?

Ireland finish third in the Six Nations in 2020 behind Champions England and a young and exciting French team who are building for the Rugby World Cup 2023 which will be staged in France. Will Paul O’Connell add a bit of hardness to the pack?
