Jake Paul has cast major doubt on a fight with Tommy Fury ever happening in the future.
Paul was initially supposed to be meeting Fury in the ring on December 18th. However, the Briton has since pulled out with an apparent bacterial infection and a broken rib.
With there being just 12 days to go until the fight was supposed to take place, it’s a major inconvenience for Paul and his team, even if Tyron Woodley has agreed to step in for a rematch.
While Fury has reaffirmed his desire to fight Paul and revealed he hopes it’ll happen in the New Year, if we were him, we wouldn’t hold our breath.
Paul is quoted by The Mirror saying: “He didn’t show up to the press conference then he pulled out of the fight.”

“He’s done a terrible job of promoting the fight we had; he posted on social media once every other week.
“He’s not as hype as everyone thought and I’m p***** off now. I don’t like him and I don’t want anything to do with the family.”
You get the impression that the outcome of Paul vs Woodley II will determine where the American goes next, but there are no guarantees either way that Fury will have another opportunity.
This was supposed to be the biggest payday of his career, a fight that he described as “robbing the bank,” but he’s been the one to pull out of it and live up to the ‘Tommy Fumbles’ nickname.
