The former Limerick hurler Shane Dowling was on RTE last night for the coverage of Limerick vs Tipperary at Páirc Uí Chaoimh and a lot of people weren’t’ happy with what he had to say about Tipperary.

“If nobody had watched the game that night and someone had gone to the shop in the morning, taken out the newspaper, looked at the scoreline, and saw it was a one-point game, they would have thought it was good.

“It wasn’t that Limerick were miles better than them. The scoreline was not a fair reflection of how the game panned out.”

We definitely were the better team. 2 handy goals we gave away. Tipp scored 3 and yet again Limerick responded with points and won the game without scoring a goal. Albeit too close for comfort. Limerick yet again prove you don’t need goals to win matches. Well done

I tend to ignore anything Shane Dowling says in relation to going against Limerick. Easily the worse hurling pundit across the board.

Look at the bigger picture instead of the man, has he a point and can you actually see it?? If not, carry on the agenda v Limerick

Michael Duignan needs to he taken off RTE. A chairman of a county involved in the same competition.
