What a cracking game of hurling that was on Saturday evening at a full house at Páirc Uà Chaoimh between both Cork and Limerick. One incident that is causing a. lot of hassle is the quick ball one of the umpires gave to the Cork goalkeeper.

John prefers it when in tight games that goalkeepers take a pause , unstrap their helmet and point vaguely at their head / eyes/ frontal cortex
It was a unique game even impartial umpires can get caught up in the euphoria Limerick still All Ireland favourite Byrnes etc will train 8 days a week now

The Limerick goalie took the ball out of the umpires pocket, so nothing to be raving about, or is it allowed when Limerick do it
I don’t think the Umpire will be going to jail for this alleged incident but I would advise him to avoid Limerick nightclubs.

PUmpire probably has Cork links but the ref should have called back the play . Sean Stack should have applied the rules here .

Sean Stack needs to be more consistent regarding his puckouts and needs to bring his own NEUTRAL umpires to games with him in the future.
