It’s being report by the Irish Examiner this evening that Cork GAA have made a deal with SuperValu to rename Páirc Uà Chaoimh after the grocery store.Â
This could actually be a great move for Cork GAA, does it really matter anymore what a stadium is called, I’m sure everyone will still call it Páirc Uà Chaoimh and with the amount death that Cork GAA have build up in building the stadium.Â
A nice cash injection of €200/300k a year which the Examiner are reporting would be a welcome boost.

Is anyone going to hold the cork county board to account for building a stadium they can’t fill and can’t afford? Of course not. Instead you see them pushing for Casement and Fitzgerald Stadium to get similar treatment. Bonkers stuff.
