It was almost men against boys in the first half of the match between Brazil and South Korea, with the Selecao 4-0 up after the first 45 minutes.
In the second half, Tite’s side put the handbrakes on a bit which allowed South Korea to come out of their shell and their fans were treated to a moment of brilliance on 76 minutes, when substitute Paik Seung-ho unleashed a rocket of a shot from distance that Allison in the Brazil goal could get nowhere near.

That proved to be the only moment of brilliance during the match from Paulo Bento’s team, who can still feel very proud of their World Cup journey, where they can say they beat Portugal during the group stages, a result which secured them their place in the knockouts for the first time since they hosted the World Cup in 2002.
