Popular Golf influencer Paige Spiranac has opened up about her failed marriage.
The 32-year-old divorced from husband Steven Tinoco in 2022 after four years of marriage.
Spiranac is a social media star who boasts over 4million followers on Instagram.
She usually keeps her love life private from her mass of adoring fans, but recently the golfer spoke about her failed marriage.
Spiranac said in a video on social media: “I was previously married, I got married young.
“When it didn’t work out I decided that I was never, ever, ever, ever going to share my personal life online ever again.
“Still, to this day, the amount of messages that I get that are horrible and harassing about a previous relationship just really made up my mind that I was never going to publicly talk about that side of my life, friends or family, ever again.
“More for my mental well-being and my sanity. I am so vulnerable online, I share so much about myself and I’m very open and honest.
“I want to keep a little part of something to me and that is just what I’ve decided to do.
“People would assume that [not sharing my relationship status] is because ‘oh guys follow you and you don’t want to lose your audience’.
“No. Really this is just to protect my sanity and I just never want to go through that again. If you never put anything online then you never owe anyone an explanation”.
She is now one of the biggest names in golf on social media, and has become a viral sensation over the past few years.
Her incredible rise has seen her get a cameo role in Netflix’s Happy Gilmore 2 movie.
