Ozil’s dream move to Fenerbahce is turning out to be a nightmare

Mesut Ozil’s dream move to his boyhood club Fenerbahce hasn’t gone quite to plan and the former Arsenal outcast will be hoping for success in the near future reports the Mirror.

Since his move to Turkey Ozil has yet score or create a single goal for the Turkish giants, who have lost three of the five games he has played since joining.

Fenerbahce have been knocked out of the Turkish cup by Istanbul Basaksehir and have also slipped down the table to third in the Super Lig.

Of course Ozil isn’t to blame for the recent drop in form, in fact it’s more disappointing that it’s happening to him after the treatment he received at Arsenal.

Ozil hasn’t been involved in any real competitive games for over 10 months after being frozen out of the squad by Mikel Arteta.

The former German international is probably enjoying just being involved and once he finds his feet is sire to make a big impact at his new club.

Ozil signed a three and a half year contract with Fenerbahce in January and joined of a free as his contract with Arsenal was due to expire this summer.
