Over 200,000 people have banded together and signed a petition for the World Cup final to be replayed.
After a dramatic and heart-racing final on Sunday, Argentina walked away as world champions for the third time in their history.
Les Bleus looked a million miles off the pace in the first half with their South American opponents running rampant, scoring two goals and dominating every phase of play. As the clock ticked down and with Argentina two goals to the good, the game looked over without the faintest whimper from the France outfit.

But with just ten minutes of normal time, Kylian Mbappe scored an electric brace to send the game to extra time. The two teams went back and forth, both netting a goal each, sending the game to penalties.
Argentina held their nerve and won the shootout completing Lionel Messi’s fairy tale ending.
But a lot of fans are unhappy with how the contest was officiated, specifically France fans.
So to overturn the result, a petition was started with the desired goal of getting the match to be replayed.
Over 200,000 people have signed the petition on MesOpinions.
The petition reads:
“The arbitration was totally sold, there was never a penalty + fault on MBAPPE on the 2nd goal!!!
“Sign and share en masse for the match to be replayed!”
Obviously, the match would never be replayed but why not chance your arm.
Do you think that France was hard done by on the night?
