Randy Orton has provided insight into when he could eventually retire from the WWE.

Orton is one of the most renowned wrestlers ever to have lived. His stunning longevity has stretched his time with the WWE over two decades – but all good things have to come to an end eventually.

WWE fanatics will be dreading the day that Orton decides his race is run and announces his retirement from wrestling, but they ought to take some degree of comfort from the fact that day remains some way off.

Orton told TMZ when asked about retirement: “I just turned 40 a year ago. I got another decade in me. We’ll see. We’ll see.”

He has achieved virtually all he could have asked for and will undoubtedly have banked a pretty sum of money over the years. There really is no need for him to continue beyond his love for performing in the WWE.

Orton lives and breathes the action. When the romance has gone, you’d eventually expect him to throw in the towel, but for now and for the foreseeable, his career in the WWE is very much live and kicking.
