Boxing isn’t just a sport for Frank Senior, it’s a birthright.
With a father and an uncle steeped in the sweet science, pugilism runs through his veins.
Donning gloves for the first time at the tender age of six, Frank’s passion ignited early. Now, at the cusp of adulthood, he’s poised to turn professional, his amateur career a testament to the raw talent and unwavering dedication.
Frank’s resume boasts an impressive 14 wins from 18 contests, which if you know the amateur game is a respectable return.
In fact, Frank believes his aggressive, crowd-pleasing style is tailor-made for the professional game, and is looking forward to leaving the amateur side behind after once being stopped for a simple nosebleed.
He’s already secured titles in London, a national schoolboy title, and the prestigious Box Cup.
His journey has seen him representing well respected clubs, Dale Youth, West Ham, and Repton, each experience shaping the fighter he is today.
But, Frank’s story goes beyond wins and accolades. At just 10 years old, he found himself amidst tragedy. The Grenfell Tower fire devastated the community where his old club, Dale Youth, was based, a place that housed future champions like George Groves and James DeGale. The experience left an indelible mark, on the youngster like many in the community.
Here you can see him talking to Kugan Cassius about the tragedy below:
When asked about his inspirations, Frank’s eyes light up as he names the legendary Sugar Ray Leonard, the ferocious Tommy Hearns, and the iron-willed Arturo Gatti. These are the fighters he aims to emulate.
When it comes to his dream opponent, Frank doesn’t shy away from a challenge. He confidently picks the legendary Marvelous Marvin Hagler, a clash of titans he envisions taking place in the hallowed halls of Madison Square Garden.
Standing tall at 6’3″, Frank is aiming for the Super Welterweight or Middleweight divisions, a perfect platform for his power and athleticism.
Ambition burns brightly in his eyes. He doesn’t just dream of turning professional; he dreams of etching his name onto the British and World title belts.
