Sean O’Malley and Cody Garbrandt had to be separated at the UFC 269 after an impromptu face-off attempt which followed a war of words between the pair.
O’Malley and Garbrandt are both fighting on the UFC 269 card this weekend, but against Raulian Paiva and Kai Kara-France respectively. The press conference was not intended to provide a platform for the pair to come to blows.
Still, they used it as an opportunity to lay the groundwork for a future fight between themselves, despite the fact they ought to have been focusing on the task at hand at UFC 269.

Funnily enough, the face-off between the two of them is all that UFC fans are talking about in wake of the press conference, opposed to any of the fights they will actually be watching this weekend.
You have to think that, irrespective of their results on Saturday night, Dana White will be looking to make this fight at the earliest possible opportunity. The fan interest has already been established.
