🚨 Oleksandr Usyk reveals future plans after Tyson Fury rematch

Oleksandr Usyk and Tyson Fury are set to collide again on December 21st.

The Ukrainian claimed Fury’s WBC crown to add it to his WBA, IBF and WBO straps to become the first undisputed heavyweight champion since 1999.

There was speculation that the newly crowned undisputed king of the division may retire following his rematch with ‘The Gypsy King’ but he’s revealed he wants to step back down to the cruiserweight division.

Speaking to the ‘3 Knockdown Rule’ podcast he said: “I think maybe after the rematch, I am going to go down in weight to cruiserweight. I want more [fights at] cruiserweight.”

“Maybe I can be undisputed for a second time in the cruiserweight division, it’s my plan. When I start to prepare for my training camp [as a heavyweight], I have to eat all the time. For me it’s hard, I don’t like it.”
