Oleksandr Usyk defeated Tyson Fury in Saudi Arabia on Saturday.

The Ukrainian added Fury’s WBC crown to his collection to become the first undisputed heavyweight champion since Lennox Lewis achieved the feat in 1999.

After a close first half of the fight Usyk started to take over the contest. In round nine he very nearly stopped ‘The Gypsy King’ sending him stumbling all over the ring.

To his credit the British heavyweight managed to recover and take the fight to the scorecards where he lost by split-decision.
