Celtic and Rangers have been told that the final two matches between their teams this season will not allow away fans in.
The news was announced yesterday that the game between the pair at Celtic Park on April 8th and the fixture at Ibrox during the league split matches (where a date is unconfirmed) will not allow either set of away fans to attend.
A statement on the matter read: “Following incidents at recent matches at both stadiums, the two clubs have held meetings and decided to only admit home supporters to those upcoming matches.
“Both clubs are now set to work together to find solutions for these recent issues at both Ibrox and Celtic Park.”

Despite Celtic finding themselves nine points clear at the top of the Scottish Premiership, the rivalry between the two clubs is still one of the biggest in world football, but with no away fans, the clashes between the pair just will not be the same.
