The former Armagh footballer and All-Ireland winner Oisin McConville was on The Sunday Game with former Kerry footballer Pat Spillane and the two didn’t hold back when it came to giving out about the disgraceful scenes that took place at Croke Park and especially the eye gouge.

It was a cracking game of football between two great sides and it’s a pity that the game is over shadowed by such a disgraceful incident and something needs to be done about this and made an example of. Surely we’ll see players going down different tunnels from now on.

This is a big problem in the GAA when tensions are high, it was an awful shame also that one side had to lose on penalties.
