Former Tottenham midfielder Jamie O’Hara has claimed that Jose Mourinho will have been at home “laughing his head off” watching Sunday’s Carabao Cup final defeat to Manchester City.
Mourinho was sacked by Tottenham less than a week before the Carabao Cup final was due to take place at Wembley.
Considering this is a manager who has made a living out of winning silverware, and is the only man ever to defeat Pep Guardiola in a cup final, it was a puzzling decision from Daniel Levy.
Former Spurs midfielder Ryan Mason, who has zero experience in management at this level, was given the chance to take the reins, and it proved to be an unwise decision from the club.

Jamie O’Hara, speaking in wake of the defeat to City, with emotions running high, revealed that he is puzzled as to why Mourinho was dismissed just before the two teams took to the turf at Wembley.
He even went as far as suggesting that, if Mourinho was tuned in to the game yesterday afternoon, he wouldn’t have been able to contain his laughter…
🗣 “I can’t believe Jose Mourinho did not take charge of that final, that’s what Spurs bought him in for. He’s probably sitting there laughing his head off.”@Mrjamieohara1 vents his frustrations at Tottenham for sacking Jose Mourinho 6 days before the #CarabaoCupFinal pic.twitter.com/f5aEeg04aN
