The offside rule has been at the centre of many controversies and with the definition of the already confusing rule to be altered once again itโs sure to grab some more headlines in the near future.
The most recent example of offside rule confusion happened in the Australian A-League where a referee awarded Western Sydney a goal despite an offside call by the linesman.
