The former Kerry football and five time All-Ireland winner Tomas O’Se has joined up with John Maughan to manage the Offaly footballers for the 2022 season. Offaly GAA is starting to take a turn it seems, with Shane Lowry giving it’s backing and the Offaly U20’s winning the All-Ireland last month.
Tomas O’Se also won four All Stars as a footballer and comes from a famous football family in the O’Se’s, The Ventry man has been working for RTE as a pundit over the last few years and will now try his hand in inter county management. This is a massive plus for Offaly, a county that has a huge tradition in both codes.
The Offaly GAA Management Committee is pleased to formally recommend the reappointment of John Maughan and Michael Fennelly as managers of the county senior football and hurling teams for 2022.
