Just when you thought these days were gone, the faithful county in the midlands, county Offaly show that they are still very much alive and well as four players were dropped from the Offaly under 14 panel for playing a soccer match! Absolute disgrace, hang your heads in shame whoever is involved in this decision in Offaly.
These four lads haven’t just been suspended they have been dropped from the Offaly under 14 panel for playing a big soccer match instead of going to the Offaly training. These lads are under 14, let me say that again under 14!

It seems the manager that rang the parents forgot to inform @Offaly_GAA that he told them they were dropped for playing soccer but the official word is they were dropped for missing training 🤔

Offaly GAA should be embarrassed by allowing 4 of them u14 players to be dropped from development squad.. the coaches of the dquad who made that decision shouldn be let amywhere near underage development at all.. disgraceful
