Offaly were crowned the football champions of Leinster on Thursday evening in a cracking game full-time score was 0-15 to 3-03. It’s the first time Offaly won this competition since the 90’s! Offaly like a lot of county’s lost ground to other county’s as the other county’s pushed on over the years. But Offaly has a rich history in both hurling and Gaelic football and now with the backing of Shane Lowry and Michael Dignan overseeing the ship, good times could be coming back soon to the faithful county.
