Novak Djokovic’s visa has been cancelled for a second time with the tennis star set to be deported from Australia.
The Djokovic drama has proven to be an absolutely farcical situation, with the Serb lying through his teeth throughout and clearly having no regard for people retaining good health throughout the pandemic.
Djokovic openly identifying as an anti-vaxxer ought to have been enough of a red flag for us to measure his character, but there was no preparing his fans for the revelations which have emerged over the past week.
The finale, or so it seems, will be Djokovic’s deportation from Australia and the refusal to allow him the opportunity to defend his Australian Open title, and quite right too.
The Sun report that Djokovic has had his visa cancelled for a second time, and while he does have the option to challenge it once again, it looks increasingly likely that he will now be kicked out of the country.
Considering the draconian nature of the restrictions enforced down under since the start of the pandemic, it would have been highly inappropriate to allow the un-vaxxed Djokovic to waltz around the country.
