Tony Bellew says itâs âimpossibleâ to get in Oleksandr Usykâs head and that the Ukrainian will defeat Tyson Fury.
Bellew dared to be great when he took on Usyk in a 2018 cruiserweight contest but was defeated in round eight via KO.
Speaking to talkSPORT he revealed exactly how hard it is to get in Usykâs head.
âYouâre not getting inside his head to be honestâ, said Bellew.
âI believe, without blowing my own trumpet, that Iâm very, very good at that. Iâm absolutely fantastic at winding people up.

He continued: âBut I didnât think he spoke great English and then he came into the dressing room after beating me up and then spoke perfect English to me, he done me good and proper.â
âBut listen, Iâm his biggest fan. Iâm his biggest fan, he understands really good English, he just doesnât speak it well. It doesnât matter though, his mindset is on another level to anyoneâs Iâve seen.â
âTysonâs not going to get to him, he really isnât and if anything itâll get to Tyson the fact that heâs not getting to him.â
Bellew was then asked for his prediction on the undisputed clash if both fighters were fit tomorrow, and responded: âUsyk. He wins on points and he wins wide.â
Fury and Usyk collide on May 18th to determine a first undisputed heavyweight champion since 1999 when the majestic, Lennox Lewis achieved the feat.
