Luke Shaw has stepped up his recovery from a horrific leg break he sustained against PSV Eindhoven in the Champions League last September and could be back as soon as next month.
Shaw was involved in a collision with Eindhoven midfielder Hector Moreno which saw the 20 year old England international completely snap his leg which required very serious surgery.
The 20-year-old made a welcome return to United’s training ground on Monday and there are growing hopes he may be able to feature sooner rather than later, perhaps by the of the season.
When Shaw was first injured it was feared that the left-back would be completely ruled out of appearing at the European Championships in France this summer but it now appears he has a slight chance of making the cut whilst his return could bring some relief to Louis Van Gaal who has been juggling a number of defensive casualties.

According to The Independent the £150,000 a week star could be back in action as soon as March, giving Manchester United a welcome boost in their battle to claim one of the Champions League spots.
