Conor McGregor v Eddie Alvarez Has Been All But Confirmed

Conor McGregor is currently enjoying a well earned break after his epic fight with Nate Diaz at UFC 202 last month, but it seems ‘The Notorious’ won’t be out of action for too long as it’s becoming more and more likely that the Dubliner will be back in the Octagon this November.

McGregor is expected to face Eddie Alvarez for the lightweight title in New York on November 12th as the UFC are said to be looking for a major fight to mark it’s first outing in New York after MMA was granted a licence there earlier this year.

Both teams want the fight to take place at the UFC 205, with the only stumbling block being the fact that McGregor is still to defend his featherweight title.

But that issue has now seemingly been cleared up as Joe Rogan dropped a massive hint during a recent podcast when he indicated that the highly anticipated fight would take place at Madison Square Garden in two months time.
