Joe Willock reportedly told Arsenal players that he believed that ball went out of play before Anthony Gordon scored his controversial goal at St. James’ Park.
The Gunners would end up losing the game with manager Mikel Arteta launching his infamous rant, labelling the decision as a ‘disgrace’.

The FA charged the Spaniard for his comments but it was announced on Thursday that an independent commission had found him innocent.
Interestingly, it was revealed in the documents from the case that Willock, had told his former teammates that the ball had gone out of play before he crossed it.
