Newcastle director Jamie Reuben is reportedly considering selling his stake in the Magpies in order to take over at Chelsea.
Chelsea are in a state of turmoil at current following the sanctions which were put upon Roman Abramovich by the UK government.
The club find themselves in a position where a sale may be necessary in order to ensure their survival – which is incredible to think, considering they’re the European champions.
Exactly who is going to be Chelsea’s saviour is, at this point, unclear, but could it be Jamie Reuben, a director at Newcastle, who is an avid supporter of the West London giants?

The Daily Mail report that Reuben is considering selling his stake in Newcastle so that Premier League rules would permit a take over at Stamford Bridge.
Reuben was part of the consortium which agreed to buy Newcastle merely a matter of months ago, but there’s understood to be consideration over selling his shares.
That would give Chelsea a cash-rich owner to keep them afloat and one that they can be sure has their best interests at heart. That’d tick a whole load of boxes for the Blues…
