New report reveals just how much David Alaba is demanding in wages from Chelsea

David Alaba’s time at Bayern Munich is coming to an end with the highly rated Austrian defender’s contract finishing in the summer and he shows no sign of wanting to renew.

The 28 year old has been linked with numerous clubs in recent months with Real Madrid at the front of the queue to sign David in January with veteran reporter Fabrizio Romano even giving his near trademarked ‘Here we go’ to the transfer.

Although a very recent report from the Guardian states that Chelsea want to hijack Real Madrid’s move for the defender as grabbing him on a free would be a deal that’s too good to pass up for any European club.

Thiago Silva is coming towards the end of his career as he’s currently 36 and young centre back Tomori has fallen out of favour at Chelsea as he was sent on loan to AC Milan, this leaves plenty of room for David Alaba in the squad on one condition.

The Telegraph is reporting that Alaba wants a ridiculous £400k a week in wages from the London club and that explains why the deal has not been signed yet.

In order for the deal to come through and the Bayern player to switch his loyalty to the Blues he would have to lower his wage demands and meet Chelsea in the middle.

Do you see this deal happening? Can you see any club in the world meeting these crazy demands?
