Sky Sports MNF end of season awards – Neville and Carra crown Man City, Man United and West Ham stars

On last night’s edition of Sky Sports MNF, Gary Neville and Jamie Carragher dished out their end of season awards for the 2020/21 Premier League campaign.

With last night’s clash between Fulham and Burnley being the final Monday night game of the season, Sky Sports’ Neville and Carra got down to business, handing out their end of season accolades to those who have performed the best, at least in their minds, over the course of the season.

The categories are as follows: player of the season, manager of the season, young player of the season and signing of the season. Unusually, Neville and Carragher agreed on three out of the four, with the pair only choosing different signings of the season.

Ruben Dias has hardly put a foot wrong in his debut season with Man City, while Pep Guardiola is set to win the Premier League, so is good value for manager of the season, even if David Moyes could be forgiven for feeling a little aggrieved.

Phil Foden for young player of the season is near enough inarguable, while other worthy signings of the season would include Ruben Dias again, Thiago Silva, Ollie Watkins, Raphinha, Wesley Fofana, Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg and Craig Dawson.

Ultimately, all of the selections are subjective. What do you think?
