The Netherlands starting XI appears to have been inadvertently leaked ahead of their clash with North Macedonia this evening.
With Frank de Boer’s managerial record pretty dismal, and Netherlands’ squad injury (and talent) depleted, few would have considered the Dutch as one of the favourites at Euro 2020.
While they’d be wrong to change their opinion after two group games, the Netherlands will have surprised a few with the quality of their performances in the tournament to date.
With victory over North Macedonia this evening, they will make it three wins out of three, a quite impressive feat, and one which will take them into the knockout stages as group winners.
