Despite not being officially confirmed, it looks like Conor McGregor and Rafael dos Anjos’ UFC 196 showdown has to be put on hold as reports of the Brazilian breaking his foot flooded social media today.
Since the news broke the rumour mill has been in full flow with several names being circulated as possible replacements for the injured dos Anjos.
Nathan Diaz was one of those names and he has one stipulation for McGregor if he wants to fight him next week. The message doesn’t mention the Irish fighter but we all know who he’s talking about.

The world is still waiting for official confirmation from the UFC and a response from McGregor but it is unlikely a replacement will be appointed on such short notice.
