“I got s**t to do” – Nate Diaz publicly demands release from UFC contract

Nate Diaz has publicly demanded that Dana White releases him from his UFC contract if he is not given a fight soon.

Diaz has not fought in the UFC since being defeated by Leon Edwards on points in June of last year. He has made no secret of his desire to get back into the octagon, but Dana White is yet to deliver a fight for him.

It doesn’t appear as though Diaz is prepared to hang on much longer, with the fighter having loaded up Twitter on Saturday morning and demanded that he is released from his contract if a fight is not to come soon.

Diaz has been called out by YouTuber Jake Paul, who is making huge amounts of cash fighting washed-up MMA fighters, it’d certainly be interesting to see if that materialises, should his time in the UFC be coming to an end.

The best-case scenario is for Diaz and White to settle their dispute, which would allow Diaz to continue in his sport of choice, but relations between the pair appear frosty. It remains to be seen if their relationship is salvageable.
