🚨Tragic news coming out of Munster rugby this evening, after the passing of a legend 💔🕊️

Munster rugby announced this evening of the passing of Greig Oliver this evening. The Munster Rugby website said the following;

All at Munster Rugby and the IRFU are deeply saddened and shocked to learn of the sudden passing of our dear friend and colleague Greig Oliver at the age of 58.

Greig passed away this afternoon following a tragic paragliding accident in Cape Town.  He was in South Africa with his wife Fiona in support of their son Jack and the Ireland U20s squad who are playing in the World Rugby U20 Championship.

A former international scrum-half, Greig played in two Rugby World Cups for Scotland.

Following retirement, he held academy management and coaching roles with Scottish Borders and Edinburgh before moving to Ireland with his family in 2007.
