Reports coming out today that the home of Cork GAA Páirc Uí Chaoimh could be set to host it’s first ever rugby match! Some of the dinosaurs will be going mad in Cork GAA! But such is the death in the Cork GAA, a match between Munster & Springboks A could sell out the stadium and bring down some of the costs.

According to the Irish Examiner, Cork GAA has formalised a request to Croke Park to stage the game against the Springboks and it will be debated at a Central Council meeting this weekend.

How class will it be to see a stadium the size of Páirc Uí Chaoimh to be fully over the winter, when it normally wouldn’t. More of this across every code please, shared facilities makes perfect sense for a country the size of Ireland.
