The grandson of Muhammed Ali, Nico Ali Walsh, got his second professional victory under his belt with a KO over the weekend.
If you come from the same bloodline as a man regarded as one of the best boxers of all-time, there’ll be somewhat of an expectation to step through the ropes of a boxing ring and attempt to follow in his footsteps.
The problem is from Nico Ali Walsh’s perspective, it doesn’t matter how good he becomes or how much he achieves in the sport, he’s NEVER going to have a legacy comparable to his grandfather’s.

That said, all he can do is prove that he is more than just the grandson of a legend and is actually a good fighter in his own right, which he took a step forward in achieving over the weekend.
Nico Ali Walsh struck opponent James Westley II with a smart right hand, which resulted in his corner waving the towel and stopping the fight before any serious damage was done.
It has to be said, it wasn’t pretty, but they all count…
