Chelsea star Mason Mount has thrown his FIFA 22 card in the bin after being left unimpressed with his rating.
Mount was a key figure for club and country last campaign, influential in Chelsea’s Champions League triumph and England’s run to the Euro 2020 final.
With the midfielder having established himself among the finest players in the Premier League, you’d think that EA would reward him with a rating that reflects that on FIFA 22 Ultimate Team, but apparently not.
EA have decided to rate Mount at just an 83 overall, which he wasn’t happy about whatsoever, walking off with his card and putting it in the bin at the training ground…

It’s best not to read into FIFA ratings too far, but it is often funny to think how badly wrong EA can get them. The creators of the world’s biggest football game clearly have a limited understanding of the sport.
Mount is back available for Chelsea as they take on Southampton at Stamford Bridge this weekend. It’s an opportunity to show those behind the scenes at EA how badly wrong they’ve got it.
