BOMBSHELL report claims Mohamed Salah could follow Sadio Mane out of Liverpool

News has broken via The Sun that Mohamed Salah could leave Liverpool before the end of the transfer window.

Salah has established himself as one of the world’s finest players during his time at Anfield. The only problem with that, from the club’s perspective, is that he would now very much like to be paid in line with his quality.

Considering Sadio Mane recently departed over a similar dispute, and Salah has just 12 months left to run on his Liverpool contract, there’s legitimate cause for concern for Reds fans that their Egyptian King could move on.

According to The Sun, who in truth are the one outlet whose claims would be dismissed by Liverpool fans no matter what they were reporting on, Real Madrid are interested in taking advantage of the situation – this summer.

The report claims that FSG could be tempted to cash in on Salah if an offer arrives in the region of £60m. Real Madrid are understood to be weighing up submitting an offer close to that price.

The prospect of Liverpool losing Mane AND Salah in the same summer is something no fan would wish to entertain, but there appears to be a legitimate possibility, even if slim at the time of writing, that it materialises.

Ultimately, this situation has been brewing behind the scenes for some time and FSG have been unable to resolve it. If Salah were to depart and leave Liverpool out in the cold, the club’s owners would only have themselves to blame.
