A video from The Den this afternoon shows that Millwall really need to invest in better security staff ahead of next season.
First and foremost, we’ve rather confused as to why the Millwall supporters felt it necessary to invade the pitch this afternoon.
They had recorded a 3-0 victory over Peterborough which left them in eighth place. They were striving for the play-offs and fell short, with the fans invading the pitch in celebration.
It’s most curious.

Regardless, considering we do now know that the Millwall fans are willing to run on the pitch at any opportunity, the club ought to begin revamping security measures.
The stewards on the clock today were laughably bad, having formed an unjoined line, leaving large gaps between them, and allowing the fans to continue on to the pitch.
They didn’t even try – what are they doing?
