Mikel Arteta has called for his Arsenal team to end the season on a high following a tough season that’s seen them fail to win the league.
After topping the league table for almost 33 matches, the Gunners dropped in form at the worst possible time allowing Manchester City to overtake them and ultimately go on to win the title.
While they were still in all four cup competitions, many backed them to win at least one trophy with the way they were playing but their best season in decades will unfortunately see them go trophyless.
Speaking in his pre-match press conference ahead of their final league match against Wolves tomorrow, Arteta has emphasised the need for his team to end the season on a high.
“I think now is about finishing the season in style and getting a victory in front of our people.
“We have to wrap it up in the best possible way, it’s been some journey full of emotion and everyone deserves a lot of credit.”

The collapse of their title charge will certainly leave a bitter taste in their mouths, but Arsenal can still be proud of their performances this season.
