Mikel Arteta has said that his Gunners squad need to be alert if Manchester City drop any points between now and the season’s end.

Arsenal have four games left of the campaign and sit behind Manchester City by just one point having played a game more than them and speaking to the media yesterday (quotes via The Sun), the Spaniard admitted that his side need to be ready to capitalise on any missed points from their rivals.

We have enough to think about in terms of our games, but I don’t know what will happen [between now and the end of the season. They [Manchester City] have won a lot of games over the last few months and if they continue, they’ll get closer to winning the league, but if they drop points, we have to be ready.

This means a lot to the players, but I don’t know what they’re thinking so we just have to try and win every game and see what happens.”
