Speaking to TalkSPORT he said:
âAs far as the Mike Tyson vs Jake Paul fight goes, I think itâs dangerous.â
âMike Tyson is one of the greatest heavyweights that ever lived but at 58 years of age, he shouldnât be getting hit.
âJake Paul is a young man, heâs in shape, and heâs ended up being a half-decent professional boxing prospect.
âSo for me itâs dangerous and it shouldnât be happening.â
Former world champion Barry McGuigan has been equally scathing on the bout.
Speaking to the Sun he said: âYou can be sure moneyâs got something to do with it.
âThe governing body should be seriously badly reprimanded for that â getting a 57-year-old guy in to box.
âThatâs just really stupid and irresponsible.
âHe shouldnât be near a boxing ring at 57 years old.â
