Mike Tyson has been forced to issue a statement after Jake Paul’s comments on a live stream.

The YouTuber turned boxer was discussing the fight with Adin Ross when he appeared to slip up.

When discussing psychedelic drugs with Ross, he said: “Ayahuasca is really good for your brain as well, same with toad.

“Toad is what cured Mike Tyson’s Parkinson’s, no sorry, toad cured Tyson’s Parkinson’s so he could come back and fight.”

Ross replied: “What the f***. So the Parkinson’s from a toad, he licked a toad? How does that work?”

Paul then added: “You smoke it.”

The clip went viral on social media and Paul back-tracked on his comments.

On X he wrote: “Bruh… Mike Tyson didn’t have no Parkinson’s… WTF. Why the f*** is the internet so stupid for. I misspoke.

“Meant he used toad to heal his pain. He has spoken about it many times. Just like I do. Just like many do.”

Mike Tyson’s team also responded to the Parkinson’s slip-up and issued a statement to TMZ saying, “Mike is happy and perfectly healthy.”

“He doesn’t have Parkinson’s or any other illness.”

Tyson made a shock return to boxing against Paul in November but the bout was largely uneventful with ‘The Problem Child’ scoring a win on points.
