Formula 1 legend Michael Schumacher is said to have been seen in public for the first time in many years, having attended the wedding of his daughter Gina-Maria.
The 27-year-old married her new husband Iain Bethke last Saturday in a lavish ceremony at their family villa in Majorca and German media have reported that the former F1 champion was present to witness the celebrations.

Over a decade ago, Schumacher suffered life-changing injuries when he hit his head on a rock whilst skiing in the French Alps.
Despite surviving the sickening collision, the seven-time F1 champion spent several months in a medically induced coma and he has since been cared for by his wife Corinna and a team of medical professionals.
